An ok match, wish they would've shorten this up, I feel it could've made it better.

As expected this was a super fun match. Dickish Steen is always awesome. ACH plays a great babyface especially in his role in this match. And that post match stuff was really well done.

Another fun match packed with tons of action. Trent? has really adapted well to the indy's especially PWG. The finish was awesome!

THIS. FUCKING. MATCH. This match was fucking awesome. Balls to the fucking walls. Its a match I'd show to people not only get them into PWG but to get them into wrestling period.

5. Johnny Gargano vs. "The Gatekeeper of PWG" Roderick Strong

What a fucking match!!! This was everything that people expected and more. They had elements of a great technical match and of a grudge match merged into an amazing match.

To whoever said this match would suck, FUCK YOU. This math was effin' awesome! Candice is the true star of this match. She seriously is one of the best female wrestlers in the world. CANDICE FOR PWG CHAMP.

ALL OUT FUCKING WAR. These guys threw everything including the kitchen sink and the air conditioning unit. This was the culmination of every match they've ever had, and it was awesome!

1. Brian "He Shouldn't Be Alive" Cage vs. Drake "Positive Ray Of Sunshine" Younger

Quick, high intensity, fun match. I love Drake getting beat up, with every move he takes, he gains more support from the fans to come back fired up. Brian Cage looked a lot better from last night, which is great!

Indy. Dream. Match. Jesus Christ, this was such a fucking amazing match. Everything I hoped for and so much more!

This was awesome! Tons of technical stuff and tons of action!

4. ACH vs. Kyle O'Reilly

Another awesome match. Loved the arm work by Kyle, as well as the selling by ACH. Also the Stone Cold Stunner/Niglel Spot was really cool. But the coolest spot was Kyle countering the Spirit Bomb into a Guillotine Choke, that was fucking sweet, then having ACH get up and give Kyle his finisher was awesome! Then the ending sequence solidified this being an awesome match!

5. Best Friends (Joey Ryan, Chuck Taylor and Trent?) vs. Business Boy, Tommaso Ciampa and Willie Mack

This match was fucking insane! Exceeded every expectation I had. Tons of action, tons of comedy, just a great example of what PWG is

6. Michael Elgin vs. Johnny Gargano

These two gave it their fucking all. This was an all out war between possibly the top two indy wrestlers in the world. I personally love Gargano's facial expression toward the later parts of the match, he shows really pain and struggle which sells the beating Elgin gave him.

7. Kyle O'Reilly vs. Drake Younger

This is an interesting match cause it pins the peoples two favorite guys which added a cool dynamic to the match. One of my favorite moments was after Kyle did his whole run and slap thing to Drake, Drake gets up and gives Kyle a vicious piledriver! These guys went balls to the fucking walls, pulling out all the stops to win. Really made me question how the winner was going to wrestle ANOTHER match.

Unbelievable

The after match stuff was great, I loved every bit of it, with everyone coming to help Kyle but no one could stop The Mount Rushmore Of Wrestling. I also liked the nod to the Chris Hero/Candice/Human Tornado feud with Kyle protection Candice, even if it wasn't on purpose, it reminded me of it. Kevin turning heel was out of left field, but the backstage promo kinda explains it well.

Kyle's promo after was great too. I loved the atmosphere with all of the PWG locker room out their with him while he's pouring his heart out talking about how he's going to become the next PWG World Champion. And the fans, they love him and want him to beat that dickhead Adam Cole. And is it just me or do I feel a certain "Dragon" returning.....hmmmmm.

And I know its a whole year away, and its a little early for BOLA 2014 predictions, but I'm putting my money on Elgin winning.

This was such a fun match! Tons of comedy which was all great, and had fun action. Great way to start this years BOLA.

2. Brian "I'M HUGE AS FUCK" Cage vs. Tommaso Ciampa

This match looked to be very promising, but due to what happened in the early parts of the match, it didn't exactly turn out that way. I'm just glad Cage is ok. And I felt very sorry for Ciampa when he realized what had happened, I and probably most people could tell he was upset by the look on his face. But fuck that bad shit. The match was really good with all things considering. The moment when Cage got up from Ciampa's first German Suplex was awesome!

3.  "Chocolate Juggalo" Willie Mack vs. "The Whole Shabang" Johnny Gargano

Both of these men are awesome in the ring, but I never thought i'd see this matchup. Thats the great things about PWG! These two had an awesome match. Still I wonder why Willie was never given the PWG title, for a couple months, he was capable and over enough to win the title. But the world goes on.

4. Agile, Really Fox vs. Roderick Strong

Another really fun match. These two mesh well. Glad we got this DGUSA vs. ROH dream match.

5. Joey Ryan vs. "Positive Ray of Sunshine" Drake Younger

These guys made the most of this match. Loved the hard candy's and Lego's spot! This was a fun match.

6. ACH vs. Anthony Nese

Just like the Cage/Ciampa match, it started out awesome then someone got hurt, this time Nese. But injuries aside, this was another good match with all things considering. Loved the finish!

7. Kyle O'Reilly vs. Trent?

This match was soooo good! Tons of great exchanges and I loved the submission stuff by Kyle. Man, the ending sequence was awesome and was the the 2nd best thing about this match. The best thing about this match, was Drake Youngers commentary!

8. Michael Elgin vs. "Brain Damaged" Rich Swann

Razor Ramon laid his fingerprints all over this match. Man, what a match! Everything you'd expect and more!

Such an awesome main event. I love the pairing of The Young Bucks and Cole, so much sucking.. Those three guys are seriously the best in the world. Loved the finish.

Great way to kick off BOLA 2013. This is seriously the staple show for PWG, and like most people know, PWG always gives the goods.

1. B-Boy, Candice LeRae, and "Chocolate Juggalo" Willie Mack vs. Joey Ryan, Ryan Taylor, and "Pretty" Peter Avalon

This match was so fun, everyone did 110%. Loved the comedy, and the action. Especially loved seeing Scott Lost return for a little spot. Is it just me, or does anyone else think Willie Mack and B-Boy would be a fun team?

2. Anthony Nese vs. "I'M HUGE AS FUCK" Brian Cage

Ya, Brian Cage is so fucking jacked. This was a very solid match between the two. To- I mean Anthony showed a lot of his offense which is great, he's quickly becoming one of my favorites to watch. As for Brian, I think I agree with what some people are saying and that is he's putting too much muscle, and that might be slowing and hurting his in-ring performance.

3. RockNES Monsters vs. FOOOOOORRREEVVVERRR Hooligans

With the RockNES monsters, its hit and miss. This wasn't a hit or a miss, I guess something was off, but this match felt weird. Maybe its just me. But other than my weirdness, this was a solid match. I love the Hooligans, they're one of the best teams in the world. Loved that PWG could get them on this show. Also, their finisher is awesome.

THIS. MATCH. WAS. FUCKING. INSANE. That is all.

5. Londrick vs. SMOOOTH Chucky T and Johnny GargaNO

That chicken fight at the beginning might have been the greatest thing ever in wrestling! OMG and London challenging Gargano and Chuck to a fucking duel was great too lol. Man, this was another fucking awesome match, what else can I say.

This was such an awesome technical match. Great counters, submissions, and sequences. Kyle and TJ work great together.

Review

1. RockNES Monsters vs. The Unbreakable Fucking Machines

This was a great choice for the opening match, this match was so action packed and the crowd were going fucking nuts for everything. I love all the double team moves between both teams. This was a great opening match that would set the pace for another great night of PWG action.

2. Kyle O'Reilly vs. Davey Richards

This match was originally scheduled for Worlds Finest in March of 2012 but never happened, I forgot why. But it doesn't matter anymore, we're getting it now, which is awesome.

This was an awesome match. Both Davey and Kyle played off that fact that they know each other inside and out, and they both even through in some funny comedy stuff to lighten the mood which was great.

Man, not going to spoil the outcome, but after the match O'Reilly was so fucking over with Reseda. If Cole keeps the World Title long enough, I could definitely see Cole vs. O'Reilly for the belt.

3. Johnny Gargano and SMOOOTH Chucky T vs. DojoBros

Man, this was another fucking awesome match. This match had the perfect blend of technical wrestling, counter sequences and just flat out amazing spots. Did not expect anything less from these talented guys.

4.  Kevin Steen vs. Drake Younger

Excalibur, before this match was announced said that if Drake Younger vs. Kevin Steen ever happened that we might see the first death in a PWG ring. Steen and Drake didn't die, but they fucking came damn close.

This match was everything we expected and more. Crazy outside brawls. Brutal spots. And just flat out chaos. With each and every huge bump, I cringed more and more.

5. The Young Bucks vs. El Samuray Del Sol (watch the show to get it) and AR Fox

Just read who's in this match. Exactly there is no way this could have been a bad match. This match was fucking nuts. Crazy spots and unique offense form AR and Samuray. I really love AR and Samuray as a team. Too bad we won't be seeing them team anymore. The Bucks continue to be the biggest dicks in wrestling, but the best in wrestling. The only thing negative about this match was that I wasn't happy that Samuray kicked out of pretty much every Bucks finisher, but that's not even a big deal.

60 Minute Iron Man World Title Match

6. Adam "Suck My Dick" Cole (c) vs. Sami Calihan

This match was the perfect end to the Calihan/Cole Saga. They gave 9001 percent out there. Pulling out all the stops, using each others moves even. This was just great. And in terms of the falls, I loved how they did the falls, making it completely unpredictable when or how a fall would happen, which added more excitement to the match.

It's sad to see Sami go because I could have honestly seen him win the PWG World Title if he wasn't leaving to the big E. Hope he does great because he deserves it.

Dear PWG lover,

   Hey, my name is Andy and this is my blog for PWG DVD reviews. Just a little background information about myself. I'm a lover of pro wrestling. More specifically indy wrestling. By far my favorite and the best indy wrestling promotion is PWG.

   So that's why I created this blog, to review PWG shows. My first show purchased (yes I purchase all the shows) was FEAR. Since that show I was hooked in an instant. So whenever there is show released, I'll review it. I may or may not review every show from FEAR to the newest release (All Star Weekend Nights 1 & 2) but we'll have to see.

The way I'm going to review shows is giving my opinion of each match, then not giving a star rating, but give a word, or phrase that describes the match i.e. : AWESOME! FUCKING AMAZING! Good, Solid, etc.
